Abstract
Familial Medullary Thyroid Cancer (FMTC) is a rare cancer of thyroid. FMTC derived from parafollicular C cells and there is a known relationship between FMTC and RET protooncogene mutations. Genetic testing is considered the standard of care for all first-degree relatives of patients with newly diagnosed MTC and surgery should be performed. We report here four sisters affected by FMTC.
