Since the early 1990s, laparoscopic adrenalectomy has replaced open adrenalectomy as gold standard techniques for the surgical treatment of adrenal disorders. Though the upper limit of the mass is controversial with laparoscopic approach; in last years, it is seen that tumor size of greater than 10 cm is excised successfully by this technique. Here, a case of giant adrenal mass in a 46 year old woman with Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia type 2A that was treated with laparoscopic adrenalectomy is reported. We think that laparoscopic adrenalec- tomy can be safely performed even for giant adrenal tumors like pheochromocytoma without evidence of local invasion in highly skilled and experienced hands.
